Sr. R&D Scientist
We are seeking a high level individual for full-time work in research and development of new X-ray instruments. You would take a lead role in product development and initial commissioning for our scrap material sorting product line. You must be highly motivated, and operate well both independently and as part of a team. The job may involve some travel to customer facilities for designing and commissioning of custom in-line systems. Expect to take plenty of responsibility and be a major contributor to our continuing success.
Requirements:
MS or PhD in physics, chemistry, engineering or related fields, with 5+ years experience in analytical instrument design.
Ideal candidates would have the following skills and experience:
- MS or PhD in applicable field (Physics, Chemistry or EE preferred)
- Experience with analytical instrument development
- Proficiency in computer programming in C/C++/C#, particular emphasis on scientific programming and data analysis
- Experience with x-ray or optical spectroscopy or imaging
- Experience with radiation sensors or sources
- Excellent communications and project management skills
