Applications Scientist
We are looking for an energetic and results oriented individual with a scientific background to join our team.  This person will be responsible for developing methods to address new markets, as well as providing technical support to our existing customers.  This will require experimental determination of instrument parameters and the development of standard operating procedures for routine and consistent analyses. Occasional assistance with customer support may be required.

This position requires working closely with the sales and marketing staff in order to increase sales.  This will involve analysis of customer samples and direct communication of results to customer, as well as the creation of technical datasheets and documentation.  Some travel is required.  Secondary responsibilities are varied and may include such tasks as providing customer training, technical writing, and acting as a general technical resource as required.  Issues to be resolved will range from general application support to complex debugging of error conditions to providing innovative solutions to meet the specific requirements of our customers.

A minimum of a BS degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Physics or other applicable technical discipline is required.  The ideal candidate will be able to operate independently, show initiative, and exhibit good business judgment. Strong data analysis ability as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this position.
