THE INNOV-X TECHNOLOGY ADVANTAGE
Daily Proof of Durability!
At Innov-X Systems, we engineered our Handheld XRF from the ground up for real-time, reliable elemental analysis wherever needed. X-ray tubes have long been proven to be the most versatile, high performing excitation sources for XRF analysis. We harnessed that energy and integrated it with the rapidly evolving technology of portable and wireless computers to introduce the first commercially available Innov-X Systems handheld analyzer designed around a miniature X-ray tube. Some companies trying to follow our lead have simply wedged a tube into a unit intended for isotopes.
Critical to the Innov-X design is our novel shock-proof mounting and heat-sinking mechanism for the x-ray tube. This eliminates heat-related tube failures that plague other portable XRF systems. Our design also accommodates wide ambient temperature swings, without which tube sparking can occur and thus lead to tube or board failure.
Daily Proof of Durability!
- Petrochemical techs routinely measure 800° F plus surfaces in the heat and humidity of the Gulf Coast.
- Metal recyclers perform thousands of tests per week to sort scrap metal.
- UN inspectors travel with it throughout the Middle East's demanding, hot and dusty environments.
- Analysts perform tests in the arctic temperatures of oil sands in Northern Canada.
The Ingenuity of the Innov-X Handheld XRF is its combination of Point-and-Shoot Simplicity with Rugged Miniaturized Technology; PDA/Pocket PC Power; and Advanced, High-Performance XRF Laboratory System Capabilities!
- SmartBeam provides low limits of detection for Cr, V, and Ti in alloys
- LEAP (Light Element Analysis Program) allows analysis down to phosphorus - P, S, Cl, K, and Ca in soils
- Bluetooth wireless communications - No burdensome cables
- Enable/disable remotely; fast data export from AUX port; communicate directly with external devices
- Truly versatile software with an array of analytical programs - add Elements, add Calibrations, use factory-installed calibrations, use Fundamental Parameters, create special Empirical Curves
